The British Ministry of Defense has published an up-to-date map of hostilities in Ukraine as of Wednesday, August 24.

A difficult situation remains in the Donbas, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding back the pressure of the occupying troops and do not allow them to advance in the Avdiivka and Bakhmut directions. The enemy is unsuccessfully trying to establish control over the Donetsk region.
Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Bakhmutsky, Kodema, Peskov and Nevelsky.
In the Bakhmut direction, shelling was recorded in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmut, Soledar, Zaitsevo and Belogorovka. The enemy fought offensive battles in the directions of Bakhmutsky and Kodema, but suffered another setback.
The enemy waged offensive battles in the direction of the settlements of Peski and Nevelskoye. Again unsuccessfully.
