Fighting continues on occupied lines in the east and south. All Russian attacks repulsed. Fighting continues in the directions of Bakhmut and Avdiivka, Donetsk region. This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for August 19.

In the Slavic direction, the enemy carried out a fiery defeat from artillery in areas of various types near Dibrovnoye, Dovgenkiy, Vernopolye, Suligovka, Chepil, Mazanovka and Bogorodichny. He tried to conduct assault operations in the directions of Barabashevka - Karnaukhovka, Suligovka - Dibrivno, Suligovka - Novaya Dmitrovka.

Shelling was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction near Seversky, Razdolevka, Grigorievka, Sidorov and Prishib.

In the Bakhmut direction, fire from tanks, cannon and rocket artillery was noted in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmut, Soledar, Berestovo, Veseloye, Zaitsevo, Yakovlevka, Kodema, Spirnoye, Ivano-Daryevka, Belogorovka and Zheleznoe. The occupiers attacked with ground attack aircraft in the Soledar area. The enemy fought offensive battles in the directions of Controversial - Vyemka, Stryapovka - Soledar, Vladimirovka - Soledar, Klinovo - Bakhmut, Vershina - Kodema. In the indicated directions, the enemy units had no success and retreated. Fighting continues in the direction of Pokrovskoye - Bakhmutskoye.

Artillery shelling was recorded in the Avdiivka direction near Avdiivka, Marinka, Krasnogorovka, Peski, Pollnoy, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye, Novobakhmutovka and Netaylovy. The enemy launched airstrikes near Maryinka, Novomikhailovka and Pavlovka. Conducts assault operations in the direction of Lozovoye - Pervomaiskoye, hostilities continue.

In the Novopavlovsk direction, the areas of the settlements of Pavlovka, Vladimirovka, Bolshaya Novoselka, Vugledar, Novomikhailovka, Prechistovka and Zolotaya Niva were affected by fire.

In the Zaporizhia direction, the enemy used tanks and artillery to destroy near Shevchenko, Volshebnoye, Preobrazhenka, Zheleznodorozhny, Gulyaipol, Novoselka, Stepnoye, Vremovka and Dorozhnyanka.
