On August 16, 2022, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Norwegian Council for Refugees regarding the provision of financial assistance to Ukrainian citizens whose lives were destroyed by the war, the website of the Ministry of Social Policy reports.

It is planned to provide financial assistance in the amount of UAH 2,200 monthly for three months to applicants. Payment in the amount of 6600 UAH will be made in one payment.

What does NRC do for Ukrainians.

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) began its work in Ukraine in November 2014. Since then, the organization has helped more than 700,000 people in the eastern regions affected by the war in Donbass.
