Judge of the Pechersky District Court Svetlana Grechanaya lifted the arrest from the building of the shopping and entertainment Ocean Plaza in Kyiv and the funds on the accounts of its formal owner - IS Lybid LLC. The corresponding decision is published on the website of the registry.

The arrest was lifted from an apparently Russian asset: the ultimate beneficial owner of the companies that manage the mall is the Russian oligarch Arkady Rotenberg.

The judge also removed the arrest from three land plots and 15 apartments in Kyiv. Property worth about UAH 350 million was transferred to the management of ARMA, reports the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The investigation found that a number of owner companies leased the commercial premises of the mall, and the funds received through the chain of financial transactions could be transferred to the final owner.

In the future, the businessman used them, in particular, for the operation of cartridge factories supplying ammunition to Russian soldiers in Ukraine..

The case was opened under articles on tax evasion and money laundering, financing of actions aimed at overthrowing the constitutional order or changing the borders of the territory of Ukraine, on an especially large scale, which led to serious consequences (h. 3 st. 212, h. 3 st. 209 and h. 4 tbsp. 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
