NPC " started the restoration of the power transmission line between Ukraine and Poland. According to Ukrenergo in its post on FB, the corresponding framework agreement was signed by the head of the board of NPC Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky and the president of PSE S. Eric Klossovsky.

The restoration of the interstate power line is being implemented in pursuance of the memorandum between the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Climate and Environment of Poland, which was signed in June 2022.

Electricity exports to Poland resumed a few weeks after the synchronization of the Ukrainian power system with the power grid of continental Europe and now stands at 215 MW.

After putting the restored interconnector into operation at the beginning of next year, it can increase the physical possibilities for the export of Ukrainian electricity to Poland by almost 1000 MW.

Participants who give the highest price for access will receive it and, accordingly, the opportunity to export electricity.
