The UN responded to the call of Ukraine to send experts to investigate the terrorist attack in the occupied Olenivka, which killed more than 50 Ukrainian prisoners of war defenders from Azovstal.
Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesman of the UN Secretary-General, said that the UN will send a group of experts with the consent of the two sides.
“In connection with the recent tragedy in Olenivka prison, we are ready to send a team of experts capable of conducting an investigation that requires the consent of the parties, and we fully support the initiatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross,” Haq said, according to Voice of America..

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced that they had submitted a request to visit the site of the attack and offered assistance to all the wounded.
