Ukrainian journalist Mykola Rachok died in a battle with Russian occupiers, the Parliamentary Committee on Freedom of Speech reports.. Before the full-scale invasion, Rachok worked for InfoCar.
The journalist voluntarily joined the ranks of the Ukrainian army. And patriotism, motivation and fortitude made him a warrior, said the editor-in-chief of the publication.
Nikolai Rachok fought in the 58th Motorized Brigade, whose fighters recently destroyed a group of mercenaries from PMC Liga (former PMC Wagner).
“His unit accepted its not the first, but unequal battle with the more numerous “League” detachment of the Wagner PVK,” the message says..
