28 more officials of the Security Service of Ukraine will be dismissed in the near future. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during the traditional evening address.
“And one more important news about the Security Service of Ukraine. Personnel audit in progress. The issue of dismissal of twenty-eight officials is being decided. Different levels, different directions. But the reasons are similar - unsatisfactory results of the work, ”he said.
Zelensky also thanked everyone who faithfully and effectively serves the state, each and every one who effectively defends interests at their level.
Recall, on the eve of Zelensky removed the head of the SBU Ivan Bakanov from service and appointed an interim head of the Security Service.
On July 18, the President submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a proposal to dismiss Ivan Bakanov from the post of head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
