In Melitopol and other temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region, Russians threaten to deport Ukrainians for their pro-Ukrainian views. Mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov announced this to Telegam.

“The pseudo-authority issued a pseudo-decree that the residents of the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region will be deported for Ukrainian symbols, for a non-pro-Russian position,” said Ivan Fedorov. “This pseudo-authority presented itself as Stalin and they want to repeat the scenario of 1944 – the deportation of Crimean Tatars from Crimea.”.

He emphasized that anyone who tries to do this will end badly.. But he expressed confidence that the de-occupation of the south of the Zaporozhye region would take place faster than the attempts of the invaders to carry out such a deportation.

“I am sure that this, firstly, will not happen. And before the rashists carry out pseudo-deportations, we will return to our temporarily occupied city,” the mayor of Melitopol emphasized.
