Separate Ukrainian high-ranking officials, including heads of military administrations, representatives of local councils and heads of public utilities, continue to violate the laws of Ukraine on the state language under martial law. For this, they will be fined starting from July 16, the press service of the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language Taras Kremen said on Facebook..

According to the results of a survey on the use of the Ukrainian language by officials, 25 representatives of our country violated the provisions of the law. Their use of a non-state language was discovered on the air of the telethon, on official pages on social networks (Facebook, Telegram) and on the Youtube platform.

In particular, among these persons are eight heads of military administrations:.

Taras Kremen stressed that the use by officials of a non-state language, especially during the war, is a violation of the rights of citizens of Ukraine. He backed up his words with Articles 9 and 12 of the Law "
