Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Maksim Subkh as Special Representative of Ukraine for the Middle East and Africa. The corresponding Presidential Decree is posted on the official website.

The main task of the Special Representative will be to expand diplomatic cooperation between Ukraine and African countries.
From 2018 to 2022 Maxim Subh was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Algeria.
Recall that on July 9, Zelensky dismissed a number of Ukrainian ambassadors by his decrees.. Among them is the Ukrainian diplomat in Germany Andriy Melnyk.
Earlier, five ambassadors were dismissed and two new ones were appointed..
