In the Sumy region, the Shalygin community was shelled five times in a day. More than 40 explosions of ammunition from cannon artillery and mortars were recorded.

On the territory of the Esman community, the surroundings of one of the border villages were fired from cannon artillery, nine explosions were recorded. Cannon artillery of the Russian Federation also fired about a dozen shots at the territory of the Belopolsk community.

No casualties.

Oleksiy Gromov, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that Russian troops are building up a system of fire damage in the Chernihiv, Konotop and Sumy directions.
