On July 7, the Russian occupation troops shelled the Zaporozhye region, as a result of which the fields caught fire. The fire also spread to the Dnepropetrovsk region, where it destroyed 20 hectares of wheat. This was announced by the chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Nikolai Lukashuk in Telegram.

According to the official, in the afternoon the Russians shelled the Apostolovsky community and Zelenodolsk, but, fortunately, there were no significant damage or casualties.. Velikomikhaylovskaya community suffered the most.

“The enemy hit the Zaporozhye region, as a result of which the fields caught fire. The fire also spread to the lands of our Velikomikhailovsky community in the Sinelnikovsky district. About 20 hectares of wheat were destroyed, the fire self-destructed,” Lukashuk wrote..

The Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council noted that it was quiet on the territory of other communities and settlements of the region over the past day.
