In Mariupol, 10-15 calls with symptoms of cholera or dysentery are recorded daily. However, there are no necessary reagents for detecting diseases, because the occupiers took them out. There are no antibiotics in the city, so people are simply sent home. This was announced by the mayor's adviser Petr Andrushchenko.

" Sources from the circle of collaborators report daily visits of 10-15 people with symptoms of cholera or dysentery (diarrhea, vomiting, headaches). There are no reagents for testing - everything was taken out by the occupiers. Antibiotics - no. People are just being sent home,” the statement said..

According to Andryushchenko, the invaders limited communication with Mariupol residents in hospitals. In hospital No. 2, where the Russian military is in the hospital, they have not visited the common canteen since the day before yesterday.

“Yesterday, a cortege of the International Red Cross was seen on the Left Bank, which brought 4 trucks of humanitarian aid. We hope that due to open access, the International Red Cross will intervene in the situation. The occupiers themselves are not doing anything, there is not even a ban on the sale of live fish, as one of the biggest risks of the disease,” Andryushchenko added..

In addition, the mayor's adviser spoke about a new problem. Insulin for people with diabetes of poor quality and insufficient volume.

“Sources are talking about a sudden increase in limb amputations in diabetic patients in the last week.. At least two operations every day,” Andryushchenko says..

Also, according to the mayor, the problem with drinking water in the city is not being solved..

" Water supply by rivers through the streets. Sources report that in reality the pressure is 4 times less than the minimum required. If all districts of the city are connected (even without breakdowns), de facto water will disappear even where it is now,"

Andryushchenko spoke about the situation with gas supply in the city. According to him, in the part of the Levoberezhny district, closer to the. Grape from the gas pipes went water. This is a sign of testing the gas system, indicating plans for gas supply from Novoazovsk.

“In the event that such an “experiment” is launched due to damage to the main pipes, this is a toy with explosives for the whole city. But this certainly does not stop the occupiers,” Andryushchenko noted..

“The announcement of the abolition of humanitarian aid for the able-bodied worked. Terrified people go to work en masse.

They avoid clearing rubble, but they sweep the streets,"

Earlier, Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Igor Kuzin said that there is a risk of cholera spread in Mariupol.

According to him, there are great risks of the spread of infectious diseases in the occupied territories due to mass graves, lack of access to drinking water and warm weather..

It was also reported that there is a catastrophic shortage of doctors in Mariupol. The occupiers have already begun to “persuade” pensioners over 80 to return to work.
