Schools received recommendations from the Ministry of Education on the choice of textbooks for the new academic year. The number of copies of each of the textbooks must correspond to the actual choice of the institution of general secondary education (GZSE) and is determined as the actual number of students in grade 4 and the number of teachers who will teach in grade 5 of this institution in the 2022/2023 academic year, excluding the number of applicants for a complete general secondary education.
“The ministerial letter directly indicates that textbooks will be ordered only for those who will live in their hometown on September 1. Those who left for another city or another country because of the war and want to return, for example, on September 10 (anything happens in life), or live in territories that were first occupied and then liberated after September 1, will actually be deleted. Electronic in quotation marks, because in fact it is only a copy of a paper, and not a genuine electronic textbook, as it should be. Read the Regulations on it, adopted back in 2018. It says that an electronic textbook is actually a computer program, it must be interactive, contain a variety of media content - video, audio, animation objects, virtual reality, etc.. It provides multimedia content, interactive exercises and a lot of interesting things.. It is clear that there are problems with funds and publishing capacity, and in this situation a non-standard solution was required.. But not like that. We can't cross out our citizens. It was possible to meet the development of high-quality electronic content or not to rush and print textbooks for everyone, only later,” writes the editor of the ZN Education and Science Department. UA Oksana Onishchenko.
