Fierce fighting continues in the eastern operational zone, where the Russian military leadership has thrown all its resources. Due to the high concentration of enemy forces, they managed to advance deep into Severodonetsk, head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai said on the air of the national telethon. Whereas in the morning street fighting took place on the northeastern and southeastern outskirts of the city.

To accomplish the task of capturing the entire Luhansk region, the enemy does not neglect any means. The Russian military fire from all types of weapons they have at the positions of Ukrainian defenders and, at the same time, at civilian infrastructure. Now 60% of Severodonetsk is destroyed and cannot be restored.

There is also significant destruction of residential areas, over the previous day, in Severodonetsk, at least 12 houses were destroyed, in Lisichansk - 18, in Vrubovka - 10 and a cultural building, in Zolote - 3, in Pochkove - 2, Nikolaevka - 2, Viktorovka - 2.

Despite all the efforts of the enemy, the Ukrainian defenders continue to defend heroically.

Meanwhile, in the south of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counterattack and recaptured several settlements.
