Russian army sergeant Vadim Shishimarin, who was recently sentenced to life in prison for killing a civilian in Ukraine, could still be included in an exchange for Ukrainian prisoners. This was stated by Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova on the air of a single telethon.

According to the head of the General Prosecutor's Office, despite the court verdict, the possibility of exchanging the occupier is still open from a legal point of view.
