More than 2.2 million citizens have returned to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion - State Border Guard Service

Since the beginning of the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine, more than 7.4 million people have crossed the border in both directions with the EU countries and Moldova. More than 2.2 million citizens have flown to enter Ukraine during this time. This was reported by the State Border Service in a telegram.

“In total, from February 24 to May 24, employees of the State Border Guard Service issued more than 7.4 million people for both entry and exit from Ukraine,” the report says..

It is noted that more than 4.8 million of them went to leave the country, the vast majority of which are citizens of Ukraine..

More than 2.2 million Ukrainians followed to enter Ukraine during this time.

Also, according to the State Border Guard Service, since the beginning of the Russian invasion, border guards have issued more than 38.5 thousand vehicles with humanitarian aid..

“Starting from May 10, the advantage of the entry of our fellow citizens into Ukraine over the exit is recorded,” the State Border Guard Service added..
