It should be noted that the monastery complex of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is owned by the state, and the monastery was leased to the UOC-MP for 50 years.. In 2020, the prosecutor's office checked the lease agreement, then the Ministry of Culture did not rule out the possibility of breaking it and evicting the UOC-MP from the Lavra.
