The head of the Lugansk regional military administration Sergei Gaidai reacted to the statement of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu about the seizure of the Luhansk region in the near future. According to the representative of the Ukrainian authorities, the Russian military does not understand the real state of affairs on the battlefield and is mistaken in his forecasts.

On the Telegram page, Gaidai stressed that Shoigu's corrupt activities in his post had significantly weakened the potential of the invaders' army and very soon it would have to retreat under the onslaught of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

" The nonsense voiced today is only to avert the eyes of the Russians, so that they do not understand the real state of affairs that their rashist army will lose. The " Thanks to Shoigu for his yacht, instead of maintaining the Russian Army. The orcs have no victories and are waiting with horror for our counteroffensive, which will be accompanied by the process of de-occupation of our territories. All our territories,"

The head of the Lugansk region also briefly noted that on May 21, the previously planned evacuation of the civilian population from several settlements of the region would take place..
