In the Kirovohrad region, a deputy of the Kropyvnytskyi city council from the political party Opposition Platform – For Life, banned in Ukraine, started a fight with detectives from the State Bureau of Investigation, who tried to check him for possible cooperation with the aggressor.

During operational activities, the deputy began to provide tough physical resistance to law enforcement officers. Further, in order to avoid detention, he asked to be taken to the hospital due to poor health.. Despite this, the employees of the State Bureau of Investigation found unregistered weapons with ammunition and narcotic substances in the deputy, and also recorded signs of drug intoxication.

“A criminal proceeding has been initiated on the said fact.. 1 st. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Illegal handling of weapons, live ammunition).

It should be noted that one of the deputies of the Opposition Platform for Life faction in the Verkhovna Rada, namely Ilya Kiva, has already been deprived of his deputy mandate due to suspicion of high treason, and another one, Viktor Medvedchuk, is in a pre-trial detention center while he is being investigated for two cases on state.
