At the same time, he added that now in Kyiv there are no more queues for grocery stores, as it was at the beginning of the war.. According to Povoroznyk, when the authorities saw a problem that they could not quickly solve, they turned to business. And the businessmen themselves, as noted by the deputy head of the KSCA, responded to the needs of the city and Kiev quickly.

Speaking about the number of operating grocery chains and stores, Povoroznik noted that any figure is now dynamic.

“Today, more than two thousand grocery chains and stores operate in Kyiv. In the capital, there have been no queues for food or medicine for a long time,” Povoroznik said..

He added that now in the capital they are supplying the people of Kiev with fresh (seasonal) vegetables.. In particular, mini-fairs are resumed in the districts of Kyiv. There are also about 40 markets already operating..

At the same time, Povroznik noted that pet food has been available in specialized stores since February 25, 2022..
