The first batch of STANAG 4569 armored ambulances arrived in Ukraine from the UK to rescue wounded soldiers and civilians from the affected area.
Now the cars purchased with the support of the Victor and Elena Pinchuk Foundation are in the distribution center of the Ministry of Health in Lviv and will soon go to the hottest spots on the front. Thanks to them, doctors will be able to gain access to dangerous places for the evacuation of soldiers and civilians from the battlefield..
These ambulances were previously owned by the British Ministry of Defense.. The largest British manufacturer of ambulances - the Venari Group company converted them to reanimobiles. Company employees worked 24/7 to convert these vehicles for the needs of Ukraine during the war.
“The instructors of the Medical Battalion have been working in hot spots since the first days of the invasion, and our task was to provide them with everything they need.. Armored rapids are the next stage, which allows doctors to evacuate the wounded from hot spots and deliver them to medical facilities on time,” Elena Pinchuk noted..
The Foundation expressed gratitude to the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK, Venari Group and British MP Andrew Percy for their support and assistance in implementing this project and transferring much-needed ambulances to Ukraine to save our citizens.
