More than 6 million Ukrainians have limited access to water - UNICEF

The world organization UNICEF, as one of the structural divisions of the UN, is closely following the humanitarian situation in Ukraine. According to the latest data, as a result of active hostilities in the country, 1/5 of the population of Ukraine, among which a significant proportion are children, suffer from a lack of drinking water, reports the Ukrainian branch of UNICEF.

“More than a month of intense fighting in Ukraine has led to the destruction of water and electricity networks, leaving more than 4.6 million people with limited access to water.. In total, more than 6 million people in Ukraine struggle every day for the opportunity to have drinking water, which is one of the most important human needs,"
