Russian troops continue active hostilities in the Slobozhansky, Donetsk, Yuzhnobuzhsky and Tauride directions, informs the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy continues to block the city of Kharkov and shelling.

In the Donetsk and Tauride directions, the enemy continues shelling the village of Popasnaya. The goal is to inflict fire damage on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and resume the offensive on Rubizhne, Nizhne and Novobakhmutovka.

In the Yuzhnobuzhsk direction, Russian troops are defending previously occupied lines, taking measures to restore the combat capability of their units.

The occupiers continue to carry out tough filtration measures in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.

Russian invaders launched a new offensive in eastern Ukraine, said Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine.

The invaders are moving from the captured Izyum (Kharkiv region) towards Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. The invaders are moving from the south, up the line Vuhledar, Marinka, trying to cut off the JFO forces in the Donbass.
