14,600 Ukrainian families are ready to temporarily shelter children who are left without parents

Within a month, about 14,600 Ukrainian families expressed a desire to temporarily shelter a child who, for various reasons, was left without parental care during the war. Daria Gerasimchuk, Adviser to the President of Ukraine for Children's Rights, announced this on Facebook..



These families have applied for participation in the " It is implemented by the Office of the President together with the Ministry of Social Policy with the support of the UN Children's Fund UNICEF in Ukraine.

In addition, out of 290 applications from abroad, 68 organizations were selected, to which the Ukrainian side sent requests for the need to draw up relevant documentation.. Four organizations have already applied.
