The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Vyacheslav Chaus announced the resumption of traffic from Kyiv in the Chernihiv direction. Residents of Chernihiv are urged not to rush to return to the city, so as not to create traffic jams on the way of humanitarian cargo. The corresponding appeal appeared on the official page of the head of the Chernihiv OVA in Telegram.

The movement of vehicles will be resumed on April 4, from 10 am. It will be possible to drive to Chernihiv along the old Kiev road - along the highway to Goncharovskoye. The traffic will be two-way, but with a weight limit - goods weighing over 5 tons will not be allowed to pass.

The administration notes that, first of all, humanitarian aid should be delivered to the city, so those who wish to return to Chernihiv are asked to wait.

Recall, earlier Vyacheslav Chaus stated that the city was under fire from the occupiers. Critical infrastructure facilities were significantly damaged, so there is no heat, electricity and water supply in the city, gas supply is partially carried out, restoration work is carried out as far as possible.
