Since the day of the full-scale invasion of Russia - February 24 - a general mobilization has been taking place in Ukraine to strengthen our army to confront the Russian Federation. Thousands of Ukrainians have already begun to defend our state, but there are categories of citizens who are allowed not to go to the front due to certain circumstances - we tell you which ones.

Who has the right not to join the army.

people who were \;

persons with disabilities or recognized in accordance with the conclusion of the military medical commission temporarily unfit for military service for health reasons for up to six months (with subsequent passing of the military medical commission);

who is raising three or more children under the age of 18;

who independently raises a child (children) under the age of 18 years;

who is raising a child with a disability under the age of 18 or if this child is seriously ill and has an appropriate certificate (concerns severe perinatal lesions of the nervous system, severe congenital malformations, rare orphan diseases, oncological, oncohematological diseases, cerebral palsy, type I diabetes (;

who cares for an adult child who has a disability of group I or II;

who supports orphans or children deprived of parental care under the age of 18;

who constantly cares for a sick wife (spouse), a child, as well as his parents or his wife (spouse);

who has a wife (husband) from among persons with disabilities and / or one of the parents or parents of a spouse (spouse) from among persons with disabilities of group I or II;

guardians (custodians) of a person with a disability recognized by a court as incapable or with limited capacity;

who constantly takes care of a person with a disability of I-II groups or a person in need of constant care at the conclusion of a doctor;

who constantly cares for a person/people in legal need of care in the absence of other people who can provide such care;

people's deputies of Ukraine; deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea;

employees of military authorities, military units (divisions), enterprises, institutions and organizations of the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection, the SBU, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, the National Police, the tax police, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, the State Bureau of Investigation, the State;

applicants for professional higher and higher education, trainee assistants, graduate students and doctoral students studying full-time or dual form of education;

scientific and scientific and pedagogical employees of institutions of higher and professional higher education, scientific institutions and organizations with an academic title and / or scientific degree, and teachers of institutions of general secondary education, if they work in scientific / educational institutions for at least 0.75 of the rate;

women and men whose close relatives (husband, wife, son, daughter, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, brother or sister) died or went missing during the antiterrorist operation and were directly or indirectly involved in it;

those who retired from military service to the reserve and have not yet passed six months (except for reservists of the first stage). Such people can be called on their own;

other categories of people in the options provided by law.
