One of the private houses in the Darnitsky district of Kyiv, which on the night of March 28 was hit by fragments of a downed Russian missile, belongs to the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Vitold Fokin. He himself confirmed this in a comment to Radio Liberty..

“Yes, my house was damaged. It's also a shame because I'm in Moldova visiting my friend. And I was going to go home, but it turned out that there was nowhere to go, because windows and doors were smashed. Therefore, until they are conditionally covered with a film, I can’t return, ”said Fokin..

He added that the damage to the house is small and they are sure that it will be rebuilt.. According to Fokin, it takes about a week for him to return home..

“All this cannot be compared with what is being done now with our other cities.. Mariupol - the city of my mother. And when I look at it, it is impossible to hold back the tears,” said the former prime minister.

According to Radio Liberty, several more houses were damaged by the debris of a downed rocket.. In particular, their windows were broken and their facades were chopped down.. In addition, cars were damaged. There were no human casualties, but domestic animals suffered.
