Ukrainian defenders liberated the city of Irpen in the Kiev region from the military of the Russian Federation. This was announced by the mayor Alexander Markushin in Telegram.

According to the mayor, now there is a sweep. However, he warned residents that it was still dangerous to return to the city..

“It is not yet possible to return to Irpin, it is still unsafe. We are gaining a foothold on our new frontiers and we will continue to go and liberate Bucha, Gostomel, Vorzel,"

He also noted the possibility of new attacks on the city..

“We understand that there will be more attacks on our city. And we will courageously defend it,” summed up the mayor.

Earlier in Kyiv and the Kiev region reduced the duration of the curfew.
