The head of the Chernihiv OVA, Vyacheslav Chaus, noted that there is no heat, electricity and water supply in the city, gas supply is partially due to the destruction of critical infrastructure facilities and active hostilities, restoration work is carried out whenever possible.

Chaus stressed that eight fires were registered in the region over the past 24 hours, one of them was due to shelling of settlements (residential sector) by the Russian army.

In total, 386 fires have been extinguished since the beginning of the war, of which 257 were caused by shelling.

The head of the OVA stressed that 44 people were saved, including 10 children.

During the day, a group of pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service went out six times to neutralize unexploded ordnance, and since the beginning of the war, 115 explosive objects have been discovered and seized.
