Yulia Paevskaya (call sign Taira) is alive. A well-known volunteer, People's Hero of Ukraine and paramedic appeared on the video of the Russian propaganda media.

Earlier it became known that Yulia was taken prisoner by the occupying Russian troops in the encircled Mariupol. Taira, even from captivity, continues to think about how to save the civilian population from Mariupol and calls for a solution that will allow people to get out of the burning city. She talks about this in her address..

Yulia is not a soldier, she is a medical volunteer, she has a disability and health problems.

On March 16, Taira's driver was captured along with her.. Yulia treated wounded civilians in Mariupol.

In Mariupol, a fierce struggle continues between the defenders of the city and the Russian occupiers, the civilian population is in inhuman conditions - without gas, light, food, water and medicine. On March 22, an evacuation convoy with rescuers near Mariupol was captured.
