Metropolitan of Donetsk and Mariupol Sergey (Orthodox Church of Ukraine) directly from Mariupol called for weapons to be given to the city in order to defend itself from the constant shelling of Russian invaders.

“We are being killed… this has never happened before. Rashists drop bombs on Mariupol every five minutes. Where is our air defense, where is the Stinger? High-rise buildings fall like dominoes. Putin is a stinking animal. Give Mariupol a weapon,” Bishop Sergei said.

Russian invaders have been shelling Mariupol for many days. There is no communication, electricity and water in the city.

On March 9, the Russian occupation troops launched several targeted artillery strikes on Mariupol. Destroyed Maternity Hospital No. 2 and Children's Hospital No. 3. Subsequently, it became known about the death of three people, among them children.

At the same time, the Russian enemy constantly disrupts the evacuation of civilians by shelling the green corridors.
