More than 10.7 billion hryvnias were transferred to the account of the National Bank to support the Ukrainian army

In particular, more than three billion hryvnias came from abroad in foreign currency (US dollars, euros, pounds, Canadian dollars, Chinese renminbi, Japanese yen, Swiss francs, Polish zlotys, Australian dollars).

Of these funds, the National Bank has already transferred over UAH 9.7 billion for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular:.

for the needs of the National Guard of Ukraine - a total of UAH 950 million (26. 02. 2022 – UAH 450 million; 06. 03. 2022 – UAH 500 million);

for the needs of the National Police of Ukraine - a total of UAH 1,650 million (28. 02. 2022 – UAH 150 million; 03. 03. 2022 – UAH 700 million; 06. 03. 2022 – UAH 800 million);

for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine – more than UAH 6,726.8 mln (28. 02. 2022 – UAH 182.3 million; 01. 03. 2022 – UAH 675 million; 01. 03. 2022 – UAH 168 million; 02. 03. 2022 - 1904. 03. 2022 – UAH 920 million; 05. 03. 2022 - UAH 341.2 million; 07. 03. 2022 – UAH 1,843 million; 08. 03. 2022 - UAH 597.9 million);

for the needs of the State Border Service - a total of UAH 420 million (03. 03. 2022).
