Five students of the Odessa National Medical University were hospitalized as a result of gas poisoning, according to the State Emergency Service.

The probable cause of poisoning is a malfunction of the gas column ventilation system.

Three students (one of them 1995. the other two - 1997. ) are in a state of moderate severity, two more (1996. and 1997. ) - in a light state.

All students at the time of the poisoning were in a building on Pasteur Street, 14, in the Primorsky district of Odessa.
