The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to take measures to ensure uninterrupted, without the right to shutdown, gas supplies to household, as well as a number of other consumers. This was announced by the secretary of the department Alexey Danilov.

According to Danilov, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, heads of relevant ministries, the head of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine reported on preparations for the heating season of 2021/2022 and uninterrupted supply of energy and thermal energy to domestic consumers, social facilities and critical infrastructure.

The result of the consideration was the adoption of a decision by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, which, in particular, the government, regional state administrations, local authorities were instructed to urgently take comprehensive measures to unconditionally fulfill the tasks determined by the decisions of the Security Council dated 02. 12. 2019, 30. 07. 2021, 28. 09. 2021 in the energy sector, enacted by decrees of the head of state.

Within three days, the government was instructed to take exhaustive measures to establish mechanisms for the uninterrupted, without the right to shutdown, the supply of natural gas to household consumers, budgetary organizations, heat supply companies, non-profit utilities, until the end of the heating season..

According to him, the prohibition of disconnecting these consumers will be implemented in accordance with Art. 11 of the law on the natural gas market until the end of the heating season 2021/22.
