On Sunday, September 26, the Climate March will take place in 13 cities of Ukraine. In the capital, the procession starts at 12:00 on Mikhailovskaya Square. Similar marches will also take place in Nikolaev, Chernomorsk, Lvov, Zaporozhye, Dnieper, Rovno, Voznesensk, Uzhgorod, Khmelnitsky, Kropyvnytsky, Kamensky, Manyav. This summer, the world is feeling the impact of the climate crisis even more strongly, such as floods in Europe, China and India, wildfires in Turkey and Greece, heat waves in Canada and the European south, etc..

Participants of the climate march will demand from the authorities to increase funding in the State budget for measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change. Among other requirements of the Climate March: to abandon subsidies to the unprofitable coal industry, to invest in improving the energy efficiency of buildings and to develop a system of state monitoring of air quality.



People are asked not to bring political symbols and logos of business companies to the action. Only logos of non-profit organizations, initiatives and movements that work on topics related to climate change and environmental issues can be present at the march..
