In 2016, there was a t in Ukraine. "judicial reform". One of the components of the reform was a sharp increase in the salaries of judges..

The salary of judges is now calculated according to the formula in which the following components are summed up: salary + length of service + additional payment for admin. positions + extra charge for a scientific degree + extra charge for work with state secret. At the end of the "transition period" of reform, the salary (the main component of the salary) of judges will reach the following values:.

- for the district judge - 40 living wages;.

- for the appeals judge - 50 living wages;.

- for the supreme judge - 75 living wages.

To date, the salary (without allowances and bonuses) of a judge of the district court is 34,000 hryvnia, the appeal - 51,000 hryvnia. It is necessary to understand that in fact the judges receive one and a half times more (including surcharges and surcharges).

So, the state of Ukraine, more precisely - the state treasury, suffocating from thieves, corrupt officials and. the space salaries of any parasitic law enforcement officers, who are confused as milk goats (detectives of the anti-corruption bureau, reformed prosecutors and judges, etc..

On January 1, 2019, the next step comes in the reform of the judicial salary. The salary of the district judge (without additional payments and allowances) will be 46,000 hryvnia, appeal - 74,000 hryvnia. And we remember that in fact they get more - taking into account surcharges and allowances. We also remember that in the calendar year, the judge’s leave is two months, with paid.

But what a thing, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced into the parliament a bill №9258, which cancels such a sharp increase in the salaries of judges in 2019. More precisely, "defers" for a year - until 2020. If the deputies accept this bill, then the salary of a judge in 2019 will increase: district - up to 37,000 UAH (and not up to 46,000 UAH), appeal - up to 55,500 UAH (and not 74,000 UAH).

And what do you think?. According to sud. ua, the Supreme Council of Justice rebelled against this, in their opinion, anti-constitutional bill. Judges believe that such a “robbery in broad daylight” is not just their “hides”, but also threatens judicial reform as such - I quote: “I don’t want to think more boldly and all the more importantly, I’ve been in charge of reform”.

Ai, our poor, fair, law-abiding, pro-European judges. With hunger, orphans, will die now. For one because the salary is not reformed live.

Our italics. I'd love to hear at least ONE positive example of judicial reform. Alas, there are none. And the reason is that reform cannot simply consist in raising wages.. Nothing has changed in the post-Soviet judicial world. Only "clean" money has become more. This system should not be reformed, but radically broken..
