The old revolution with its symbolism, slogans and prominent figures banned. And why do we need that old one when it was already new, and its results before the eyes?.

The third region in the country - Ternopil - has joined the ban on “Russian cultural product” after Lviv and Zhytomyr, and on the All-Ukrainian TV channel “Direct”, the host of the show, to the applause of the patriotic audience, uses the words “Svinorusy” and “Russian Shivaine”.

It's funny to remember now conversations with revolutionary friends and sympathizers of the revolution that we had four years ago.. In Russian, of course; for some reason, unlike me, revolutionary friends and sympathizers with the revolution did not do well with the Ukrainian.

- Listen, - some told me reproachfully. - You're smart, why do you repeat these nonsense of Russian propaganda?.

This argument somehow seemed especially convincing to them..

“Look,” others smiled, making a characteristic Leninist gesture with their hand.. - What can be discrimination? Maidan speaks Russian!.

This fact somehow seemed important to them..

- Oh, stop it, - waved the third. - How many of them, those Natsik? They do not even pass to the Parliament!.

It seemed to them that it had some meaning..

“You see,” the fourth pattered indulgently on the shoulder, “This is the twenty-first century, the center of Europe.”. No one will let them.

It probably seemed to them to be true..

Where are they now, my Russian-speaking revolutionary friends and sympathizers of the revolution, with their inexhaustible optimism and faith in the future updated by Maidan? Few of them remained in the country of the victorious revolution; and others scattered around the ball, from Vancouver to - unexpectedly - Moscow. They are busy with their important affairs, and all of them are now united by only one.

All of them carefully avoid talking about what is happening in Ukraine..

They call it non-involvement..
