Ukrainian loyalists clarify that the moratorium on the “Russian-language product” is temporary in nature and is adopted exclusively during the occupation; as soon as the aggressor returns everything that he has captured, they say, then immediately it will be possible to produce and consume the ill-fated cultural product, but for now, one must suffer.

I used to hear from representatives of the progressive public a caustic joke in connection with the Russian "counter-sanctions" that, they say, in response to the tightening of sanctions, Putin will bomb Voronezh.

But, as has happened lately, the Ukrainian loyalists did not see the joke in this and accepted it as a guide to action..

In response to the aggressive actions of another country, these people decide to harm some of their fellow citizens - to limit their rights - promising to stop this if the enemy fulfills certain conditions.

Actions of this kind have a well-established name, if someone likes to call a spade a spade.

Hostage taking.

It remains to hope that it will not come to Putin’s packages with the severed fingers of the Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine.

Or will it?.
