In the “mirror” sanctions list of the Russian Federation, which became the top theme of Thursday, many saw the allegory. Indeed, the personal list is extremely diverse, it found a place for both political and business heavyweights and political "lice" for whom their presence in such a campaign would be the top of their political career.

The logic is actually quite distinct.

There are two vectors in the personal list.. One vector is focused on the Russian internal political discourse. In its framework, the list is saturated with both “hawks” from the “party of war to the bitter end” and media - clown characters like Gavrilyuk and Parasyuk. The question is why? The answer is clear, the audience of talk shows, consumers of political information, it is necessary to demonstrate how they are being punished for anti-Russian stance.. At least make it appear. Moreover, such requirements have long been voiced in the Russian media and political environment..

The second vector is external, aimed outside - at that part of the Ukrainian politic which can be attributed to the “party of peace”. Opponents attribute them to the category of pro-Russian politicians, but this is nothing more than an outdated propaganda cliche. Probably, simply, before the start of the new electoral cycle, the Kremlin, using the policy of “carrots and sticks”, motivates this flank of Ukrainian politics, if not to surrender, then to a more active, even radical position.

The period of talking about the “no-alternativeness of the Minsk agreements”, but without any action aimed at their promotion, most likely ends.

But such a tool for carrion has already been used.

Let me remind you that a year ago, the “industrial” part of the OppoBlock “under the distribution” from the Russian Federation, when after the economic blockade of Donbass organized by the “useful patriots” of Akhmetov and Novinsky were actually taken from them, the Russians took control.

Now the signals (whip) are quite clearly visible to the address of the “gas industry workers” and to the shareholders of Za Zhyttya, both in the personal part of the sanctions list and in the list of enterprises. And someone on the contrary, in the form of a carrot, received a temporary reprieve in the form of not including in the list. In general, the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections threaten to become the most unpredictable in all the years of independence, and Russian sanctions are one of the prologues to them..
