Tourists from 21 countries temporarily will not have to pay a visa fee for staying in Thailand for no more than 15 days.

The Thai government has decided to temporarily cancel the payment of mandatory visa fees on arrival for tourists from Ukraine and a number of other countries.. This is reported by Bangkok post..

From December 1, 2018 to January 31, 2019, tourists from 21 countries will not pay a visa fee of 2000 baht ($ 60) if they arrive in Thailand for no more than 15 days.



Temporary visa fees will be canceled for tourists from Andorra, Bhutan, Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Mauritania, Papua New Guinea, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
