The Cabinet of Ministers made a decision to send 90% of all profits of NAK Naftogaz of Ukraine to the budget. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced this today at an extraordinary meeting of the government.
“We made a decision that 90% of Naftogaz’s profits will be returned to the budget, and from the budget it is directed to the needs of Ukrainian citizens and the Ukrainian state,” said Groisman.
Recall, today the Cabinet of Ministers decided to raise gas prices for the population by 23.5%.

According to the macroeconomic forecast, which the NBU announced in July, the increase in gas prices for citizens in the framework of agreements with the IMF will be held in two stages: in 2018, the price of gas will increase by 25%, in 2019 - by 15%.
