October 3, 2018, at 15:00, at the address Dumskaya 1, in the mayoralty of Odessa, ROUND TABLE will be held, dedicated to the preservation and development of the "Odessa Film Studio". We ask all not indifferent Odessa citizens peacefully, culturally and civilized (we are intelligent people) to support the Odessa cinematographers at the walls of the mayoralty. Back in 2005, without announcing a public tender, without an investment plan, through corruption fraud, falsification and forgery of documents, with violation of the Law on Privatization, in a raider-simple court decision, Odesa Film Studio was brazenly and cynically captured by visiting businessmen. A hybrid company was created, where the state owns 50% + 1 share, the rest was taken by private traders. To simulate the "stormy activity" was removed a few cheap TV series, on what all and died down and in the past 10 years, not one (!) Of his film with the emblem "brigantine". At the same time, the studio was deprived of all its film fund (more than 500 films), almost all professional filmmakers were dismissed, the shooting equipment was taken to Kiev, the "Ekran" hostel was plundered and sold in pieces to "necessary" people, and the land of the enterprise is already in someone's private property. On this occasion, several criminal cases have been filed, but this information is hidden from the public.
On June 20, 2018, the public organization "The Guild of Cinematographers of Odessa" sent an open appeal to the Chairman of the Board of "Odessa Film Studio" Andrei Osipov, with a request to clarify all these disgraces. So far, no clear answer has been received! And now these same private shareholders, who for twelve years have already finished the film studio "up to the handle," are demanding to give them all the state shares of the Odessa film studio? And all this only for the sake of that under the sign of "renovation" to seize the expensive land to 70 million. Doll. in the resort area and sell it for next new buildings.
