What a good start to a day I had yesterday! I was lucky to watch the film "Three and a Half" by Daria Gaykalova, a Ukrainian director.

I love Indian cinema. From childhood!. Even if it is Ukrainian-Indian, that is removed by the Ukrainian director in India. And it turned out very "delicious".

Three stories (with a very short half) occur in the old house - in three different time intervals. "God of death", "God of dance" and "God of love".

First, the conversations of the eight-year-old Raja with the sick grandfather: on the birthday of the simple-minded little boy, who is not so lucky in life, a paralyzed grandfather gives his grandson a kaleidoscope, than he hopes, perhaps, to redeem his desire to commit suicide on that particular day.

This first dialogue, when the boy rushes to school, and the grandfather tries to hold onto his grandson any manipulations, start to tire, and only then do you understand that it was terrible for his grandfather to leave his life like this, and it would be better if he spoke and spoke, and the grandson would miss the lessons, but would be alive ... So suddenly a feeling of helplessness pierces - when you want to run up to the screen and stop by the hand, so that no one leaves this room!.

Sometimes the dialogues in the film start to tire, it seems that you could have done it quickly, but in these phrases "stay for another five minutes! " or T. already in the second novel there suddenly appears an intrigue. And it becomes clear that this is also part of the game.

In the second dialogue, the same house becomes a small private house of visits, and the guy comes to take off for 15 minutes a prostitute and then go on business. He always did that once a week. But this time everything went differently. Naraj can not just go in, jump out after 15 minutes. The girl, who called herself Sulejha, ??completely changed the script of the usual visits to inexpensive prostitutes. It will cause Naradja absolute sympathy. Maybe Sulejka just does not like to give himself without sincere feelings? The final of the scene is discouraging, but leaves Sulejha right to creatively make a living by prostitution. Strong part of the film.

But the next one is even stronger, as for me. A couple of elderly people, who have lived together for many, many years, fall in love with each other, find many new and unknown things in the relationship, the husband and wife interact (there is such a word?) Anew, and it's so beautiful! How many gentle and wise words they say to each other this afternoon! How much beauty and love! And this scene suddenly becomes so erotic! So skilfully and delicately made is the transition to the bed scene!.

The ocean, which suddenly appears directly under the windows - instead of the usual quadrangle of the old courtyard - so symbolic!.

Another important point is that the music of Ukrainian performers. It turned out very cool! It turns out that it's so interesting to listen to the words of songs that are sounding behind the scenes, to be surprised that Ukrainian songs are so harmoniously combined with Indian color, to be glad that this is possible.

Every day I fall in love with a new film - and I'm very happy about it!.

Thanks to the festival!.
