Ukraine and Moldova agreed on the liberalization of aviation and motor transport.

Ukraine and Moldova liberalized aviation and automobile communication, and also agreed to synchronize the work of the energy systems of the two countries with the European energy system ENTSO-E. Appropriate arrangements were reached during the meeting of the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Moldova Vladimir Groisman and Pavel Filipa. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The parties noted that the significant potential of energy and economic cooperation between the countries. So, the volume of mutual trade already now exceeds $ 800 million, and can reach $ 1 billion annually.

In the presence of the heads of government, an agreement was signed on air services, on amendments to the International Road Transport Agreement of March 20, 1993 and the Memorandum on the synchronization of the work of the energy systems of Ukraine and Moldova with the ENTSO-E power system in Europe.



Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Yuriy Lavrenyuk noted that the agreement on air communication liberalizes the air transportation market, improves the regulation of air transportation between countries, eliminates the restrictions on the number of flights, allows to switch from tariff approval procedure to tariff monitoring procedure and will limit government interference in the tariff setting process.

Earlier, Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan said that the agreement on "open skies" between Ukraine and the EU will be signed after the release of the UK and the European Union.
