The Central Bank of the Russian Federation (CBR) proposed to prohibit Russian banks from posting information on exchange rates on the street. The corresponding norm is contained in the draft law developed by the Central Bank of Russia. "The project also changes the requirements for informing the clients of the authorized bank about the established rates of foreign currencies," says the explanatory note to the document. In particular, according to the draft law, "a ban is imposed on banks to post information on foreign exchange rates outside the premises of an authorized bank". Recall that in 2017, Russian banks were banned from making money transfers to Ukraine through non-Russian payment systems.

At the same time, in October 2016, the National Bank of Ukraine ordered Ukrainian banks and non-banking institutions to refuse Russian payment systems because of the introduction of appropriate sanctions. In addition, in Ukraine, through Russian banks stopped paying pensions. This decision is connected with the presidential decree of March 15, 2017 and the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, which, in particular, forbids the placement of state funds (including pensions) in Russian banks.
