"Their lives are now not threatened, but they will not be able to make long-distance flights - old fractures, the bones have crept wrong, to break them late and dangerous.

Most likely, both birds have become victims of predators or poachers, perhaps entangled in fishing nets, "says Vladimir Perkhodovich, head of the bird ecopark sector.
