Poroshenko signed the law on social changes in the state budget-2017

The document provides for an increase in spending on subsidies, social and economic development of territories and medical subventions. President Petro Poroshenko signed Act No. 2191-VIII "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine" On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2017 ".

The corresponding document provides for an increase in costs for:.

- granting of privileges and housing subsidies for payment of housing and communal services;.

- a subvention for the implementation of measures for the socio-economic development of individual territories;.

- a medical subvention for the timely payment of salaries to health care workers.

"In order to continue the implementation of financing in 2018, the law provides for the preservation of the surplus funds of the subvention in the accounts of the general fund of the respective local budgets for the social and economic development of individual territories and on the accounts of the special fund - the surplus funds of the subvention for measures to develop the healthcare system in rural areas," - is summarized in the message.

The corresponding law comes into force from the day following the day of its publication.



Earlier it was reported that the Verkhovna Rada had increased the revenue part of the state budget of Ukraine in 2017 by approximately UAH 39.7 billion - up to UAH 771 billion, spending by UAH 40.7 billion, up to UAH 841.1 billion.

Recall, the state budget for January-October 2017 was executed with a deficit of over 26.3 billion hryvnias. In October, the state budget was reduced to a deficit of 13.6 billion hryvnia, including a total fund of 12.6 billion hryvnia, which is lower than the September figures - 23.47 billion hryvnia and 22.8 billion hryvnia, respectively.
