Customs officers decided to recover from the driver more than 500 thousand. UAH - 300% of the amount of allegedly unpaid customs payments. According to the decree, "a vehicle imported into the territory of Ukraine by a non-resident in preferential treatment was used as a commodity for other purposes than those in connection with which such concessions were granted".

He could not have intention to violate the customs rules, since he is neither the owner of the vehicle nor the person responsible for compliance with the rules of the customs regime.
